This was by far one of my most memorable trips. We decided to pack up the car and take a road trip from Los Angeles to San Francisco! Smokey had his own private suite in the back of the car. Such a great experience with the windows rolled down, music blaring, and surrounded by loved ones. We made it to San Francisco in about 7 hours. We ended up at the Four Seasons. Obviously it was wonderfully accommodating. They were so kind to Smokey and spoiled him rotten. He got silver food and water bowls, along with doggie treats and his own supply of Evian water. There was even a doggy menu. I ordered him brown rice and boiled chicken breast. He was in heaven. There was a park right outside the hotel which was extremely convenient. Besides the hotel, San Francisco was an amazing experience with Smokey. I don’t remember walking so much in my entire life. We walked for what seemed to be days and yet, there was so much to see and so much to do. Fishermans Warf, Chinatown, up and down every hill that San Francisco had to offer. A typical day looked like this: We would walk all morning then stop somewhere and sit outside for lunch and enjoy the people watching. After lunch we would walk the rest of the afternoon away, wandering in and out of every store, go back to our room, shower and go to dinner. I didn’t realize it at the time but now looking back, it was such a romantic trip. And very adventurous. So blessed to have such beautiful memories.I will never forget this amazing experience. One I will cherish deep in my heart.
